Books Unite Us: From East to North, Words that Build Bridges

📅 12–14 September 2025 | 📍 Norrköping City Library

After the great success of its first edition in 2024, the Norrköping Book Fair returns for its second edition, reaffirming its position as a leading annual cultural event in Sweden. The fair brings together literature, knowledge, languages, and cultures under one roof.

What began as a new initiative has now become a cultural tradition, establishing Norrköping as a bridge for human connection and a hub for literary and cultural dialogue between East and West.

We are pleased to welcome you to the second edition of the Norrköping Book Fair, organized in collaboration between the Assyrian Monitor For Human Rights and the Norrköping City Library. It is our honor to invite you to participate in this cultural gathering, which aims to promote dialogue and mutual understanding between cultures.

  • Poetry and music evenings reflecting cultural diversity.
  • Creative workshops for children and youth in reading, drawing, and storytelling.

Outlook for the Second Edition

This edition is expected to attract thousands of visitors from Sweden and across Europe, further establishing the fair as a permanent annual cultural institution comparable to major book fairs in the region.

The second edition is not merely a continuation, but a qualitative expansion that confirms Norrköping’s place on the global cultural map – where East and West come together under one roof, and words become the bridge that unites us.

The event is expected to attract hundreds of visitors, authors, and publishers from Sweden and across Europe, establishing itself as one of the most significant cultural events for Middle Eastern literature in Northern Europe.
